Synopsis:   

Beate-Marie and Hendrik are in love, but Beate-Marie is forced to marry someone else. A generation later, the same fate seems inevitable for Beate-Marie's daughter, who has fallen in love with Hendrick's son. This time, however, love is triumphant.
